“We are promoting Media Analysis as a key area of research with respect to Sustainability. We are supporting Green Comm Academy because Sustainability should received more rigorous converage across a number of media outlets. The impact of the America’s Cup as a way to build global awareness is key to make progress in getting Sustainability addressed as a key driver of competitiveness.

Media Analysis should be an integral part of the education of a new generation of leaders who are going to face the challenge of making a transition to a more sustainable world. In contrast to the media headlines, successful corporates do not lack business but lack the people qualified to help them manage their growth. The battle for High Potential Talent will be won by companies that communicate about their CSR activities on a regular basis."

Neill Duffy, Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer, America's Cup Event Authority, stated:

"We are very proud to see America's Cup teams such as Green Comm Racing take a leadership position on the health of our oceans. We share a commitment to sustainability that will aid in our ability to deliver the 34th America's Cup as a model sustainable event with a positive impact socially, economically and environmentally. As sailors, we believe we have a responsibility to care and provide for our oceans, which is why the 34th America's Cup is utilizing its global media platform to help educate and inspire people around the globe to learn about the issues facing our oceans today. Together, we can make a difference that will have a deep and lasting impact on our world's population."
