There are 14 different jobs on an America’s Cup boat, and it takes a particular type of person to fill each one. At the Adecco Challenge in the AC North Park’s Sponsor Village, visitors can find out which of those jobs their best fitted for.
The first step in figuring out where you belong on an AC Class boat, is taking a quick Yes/No survey to determine what your strong suits are. Are you a natural born leader? Are you intuitive? Are you a quick decision maker?
Then the computer works its magic and determines if you have the leadership skills of a Skipper, the stamina and muscle of a Grinder, or perhaps your better suited to one of the other tasks. No matter your perfect role may be you’ll be needing proof. So your picture is snapped for a certificate that includes your photo, your name and your potential occupation, which is a perfect souvenir of your America’s Cup experience.
