The Volunteers enjoy the Full moon party on the Volunteer Centre's beach
We finally celebrated the full moon party after a few failed attempts due to bad weather. More than 150 Volunteers enjoyed a perfect night under the full moon, on the Volunteer Centre beach, which was all lit up with candles making the moment particularly magical.
Volunteers working in the Louis Vuitton Cup Final started arriving at the Volunteer Centre around 22:00 where they were joined by some of the Volunteers from the Louis Vuitton Cup Round Robins 1 & 2 who returned for the occasion.
Two Port America’s Cup Marina staff members created the perfect “beach ambiance” playing the guitar, the yembé, and singing, while the Endesa light show played on the façade of the Veles e Vents building. The party’s guest of honor, the full moon, made its appearance just after midnight.
We hope this was one party that made our Volunteers happy, and we will surely do it again when the full moon returns!
