There are artistic styles in Spain that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world, such as the Mudejar. Exceptional monuments like the Segovia Aqueduct, the Alhambra in Granada and the Great Mosque of Cordoba, considered to be the most important Islamic monument ever built in the West, tell us of the Roman and Moorish presence on the peninsula.
