PwC US, one of the world’s largest providers of assurance, tax and business advisory services, has been named as an Official Supplier of the 34th America’s Cup. Led by their San Francisco office and supported by a network of firms comprising 169,000 people in 158 countries, PwC will be providing the America’s Cup Event Authority (ACEA) with a full range of tax and accountancy services for the 34th America’s Cup.

The PwC contract covers the America’s Cup World Series as well as the America’s Cup events in San Francisco in 2013. The America’s Cup World Series began this summer in Europe and will include up to 16 regattas around the globe over two seasons in 2011/2012 and 2012/2013, including the next event to be held in San Diego, November 12-20, 2011. At the conclusion of the first two AC World Series seasons, two events will follow in San Francisco in 2013; the Louis Vuitton Cup – America’s Cup Challenger Series – to be held from July 4 – September 1, 2013; and the America’s Cup Finals to be held from September 7 – 22, 2013.
