    The first opportunity for all of the Challengers and Defender (Emirates Team New Zealand) to race, and for spectators to see the amazing AC75s, will be at the America's Cup World Series in Cagliari, Sardinia in April 2020. Four full days of racing, starting on Thursday 23rd with the finals on Sunday 26th, are planned.

    The race course will be just outside the harbour of Cagliari, with the finish line strategically placed just off Molo Ichnusa allowing fans to catch a glimpse of the exciting racing and close finishes. Plan to watch the racing in the race village or head to Lazaretto for a glimpse from shore.

    The America's Cup World Series Sardegna Race Village will open to the public on Saturday 18th of April 2020 and entrance will be completely free. In the race village, visitors will be able to experience first-hand the excitement of the America's Cup. Located along Via Roma and Molo Ichnusa, it will delight visitors with the opportunity to learn about the America's Cup, watch the racing on giant screens and enjoying entertainment all day long.

    The AC75 is the bold new high performance fully foiling monohull that will race in the America’s Cup in 2021 and in all the Preliminary Events. Long 75 feet (about 23 m) the AC75 is one of the most futuristic sailing boats in history and could also be the fastest monohull ever by the time America’s Cup World Series racing wraps up in 2020.
