Played on AC Sailing®, the ultimate sailing simulation videogame created by the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup, this inaugural season promises to be a nail-biting experience for even the most seasoned players.

The championship will commence on July 31st, leading up to the on-the-water action, and culminate in a Grand Final event in Barcelona on September 28th, where eight players will go head-to-head to be crowned the first-ever America's Cup e-Series champion.

HOW IT WORKS? 

America’s Cup e-Series | Official Launch

The America’s Cup e-Series is comprised by two main phases: the Online Qualifiers and the Grand Final.

The Online Qualifiers is the public qualification phase and consists of six rounds online events. Each round features a weekly challenge that spans from Wednesday to Tuesday, where players can participate in races to earn qualifying points. Additionally, each round includes a Playoff Final, which takes place on the following Saturday, where the top eight players of the week will race against each other to secure a seat in the Grand Final.

The Grand Final will feature the six finalists and two wildcard players, who will compete in Barcelona for a slice of an impressive € 50,000 prize pool. However, only one will be crowned as the first-ever America’s Cup e-Series champion.

After the Grand Final, the top two finishers will embark on an incredible journey. They'll undergo two days of intensive training, mastering their skills and learning the ropes of real-world sailing. Then, they'll face off
against a Unicredit Youth America's Cup team on the waters of Barcelona, putting their virtual expertise to the true test.

AC Sailing is the official videogame of the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup, available for free PC download on Steam and Epic Store.

The game lets players take command of high-tech foiling AC40 yachts and race against others in breath-taking online races, as well as honing their skills in time trials and practice modes. 

AC Sailing is developed from the same physics engine used in the simulators that America’s Cup teams train with to enhance racing tactics and recreate race scenarios, as well as develop and test design ideas and iterations for their race yachts.
